A Canadian whisky from Canadian Club, distilled in 1983 and bottled in 1989 after six years in cask. This Premium Limited Edition belongs to the brand's export and commemorative series.
The nose combines spicy rye toast and pine needles with toffee, green apple, wood smoke and forest floor, with mint and citrus coming through when water is added. The palate is smooth and mellow, with light caramel, vanilla, a little grain and spice, and mocha and herbal undertones. The finish is of medium length, clean and slightly dry, with mint, oak, and a soft fade of citrus and smoke.
