This is a 12 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Caol Ila, a name pronounced "Cull Eela". It is the colour of pale straw.
The character is fresh, sweetly fruity and smooth-bodied, with a delicate balance of flavours. It begins sweetly, then gives way to a fragrant smokiness, and the finish is long, sweet and smoky.
