This is an 8 year old Caol Ila from Islay, distilled on 1 February 2018 and bottled on 9 February 2026 by Fragrant Drops in a 70cl bottle.
Its maturation included 2 years in a fresh Pedro Ximénez quarter cask. It was bottled at a natural cask strength of 56.7%, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.
The sherry cask brings raisin, date and fig jam with dark chocolate, set against the maritime, peaty character of Caol Ila.
