Caol Ila Distillers Edition 2017 is a limited Islay single malt, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky spent 11 years in ex-bourbon casks before a finish in Moscatel wine casks.
The nose is smoky, with sweet dried fruit, citrus, honey and spice. On the palate there is peat and smoke, toffee, honey, dried fruit, spice and a touch of salt. The finish is long and elegant, smoky and fruity with a light sweetness.
