A 12 year old single cask Caol Ila from Islay, released by Elixir Distillers in its The Single Malts of Scotland series. It was distilled on 25 January 2011, matured in a butt and bottled on 7 June 2023 at a cask strength of 61.2% vol. The cask gave 600 bottles.
The whisky is neither chill-filtered nor coloured. Caol Ila stands at the foot of the cliffs near Port Askaig on the eastern shore of Islay.
It is described as having cool smoke and sea salt.
