This is an Italian apricot distillate from Capovilla, made with apricots from the Vesuvio area.
Capovilla distils in a bain-marie at around 103°C. This allows very long distillation times, which preserve more of the fruit's aromas.
The spirit is clear and transparent. The nose shows candied and ripe apricot together with sweet spice and mineral notes. On the palate it is fresh, delicate and persistent, with floral and fruity flavours.
