Last Century is a pear eau de vie from Capovilla, distilled from Williams pears grown on the hills of Gambellara in the province of Vicenza, in the Veneto. It is sold in a 50cl bottle. The pears are grown with traditional methods that respect the environment, then distilled in copper stills. The spirit is rested in steel tanks, which keeps it fresh and soft. The nose is of freshly picked pear with light floral touches and a note of honey. The palate is soft and velvety with a pleasant freshness, and the aftertaste lingers.
