This is an 11 year old Cardhu single malt, bottled at its natural strength of 56% and released in 2020 as part of the Rare by Nature line.
It was aged in new and ex-bourbon American oak hogsheads together with refill casks. The texture is creamy, and the whisky is described as juicy with fruit, buttery toffee, chilli spice and fresh bread.
It is suggested neat, though a little water is said to bring out the sweet, buttery side and soften the heat.
