Cardhu 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% vol. It spends twelve years maturing in American oak casks.
The nose is intense, with heather, resin, honey and nuts, along with some sweetness. The palate is balanced and soft, sweet and fresh, and then dry. The finish is short and gentle, sweet and dry, with a touch of peat.
