Cardhu 14 Year Old Legends Untold is a 2021 Special Release single malt, in a 70cl bottle at 55.5% abv.
It is a light-bodied Cardhu, with a perfumed note of Parma violets that sets it apart, and a light spice that points to wine-seasoned wood.
The nose is fresh and lightly fruity, with white grape, lychee, green apple, pear and a trace of orange zest, over buttery pastry. The palate is sweet, luscious and well rounded. A drop of water brings out meadow flowers, which turn honeyed with time.
