Cardhu 14 Year Old Legends Untold is a 2021 Special Release single malt, bottled at 55.5% in a 70cl bottle.
It is a light-bodied Cardhu with a sweet, well-rounded palate and an unusual perfumed note of Parma violets. The wine-seasoned wood adds a light spiciness.
The nose is fresh and lightly fruity, with white grape, lychee, green apple, pear and a trace of orange zest over buttery pastry. A drop of water brings out meadow flowers that turn honeyed with time.
