This is a 14 year old Cardhu from the 2021 Special Release, a Speyside single malt bottled at 55.5% in a 70cl bottle.
Most of its maturation took place in refill American oak casks, followed by a finishing period in red wine casks. Despite the strength and the finish, it is light-bodied.
It is described as having strong floral hints and a fruity, sweet taste.
