Casares – Single Malt Stout Finish (75cl, 46%)

Casares Stout Finish is an Argentine single malt made entirely in Carlos Casares, in Buenos Aires province, where every stage of production takes place. It uses locally grown barley, malted in a building set aside for the purpose and distilled twice in copper Goose Neck pot stills. It is bottled at 46% in a 75cl bottle. The spirit spends at least three years in charred American oak, then six months in casks that previously held stout. It is non-chill-filtered and has no colouring added. It is usually described as a gentle single malt with notes of wood and vanilla.
