Cascahuin Tahona Blanco Tequila (70cl, 42%)

Cascahuin Tahona is a blanco tequila bottled at 42% in a 70cl bottle. It is made in the traditional way: the agave is cooked and then crushed with a stone mill made of volcanic rock, a slower method than modern equipment. Crushing as well as shredding the agave extracts more juice and gives lactic and mineral character. The tequila is pale and clear. The taste is led by agave, spice and a fruity note, and the finish is mineral, earthy and vegetal.
