Casey Jones Double Cut Blue Whiskey is a Kentucky whiskey made from blue corn and cane sugar. It is bottled uncut and unfiltered at 53.5% ABV, in a 75cl bottle.
The spirit is first matured in new oak and then moved into used Bourbon barrels, which gives the double cut of the name.
The nose combines dark fruit and cocoa with sweet corn, caramel, vanilla and toasted oak. The palate is rich and sweet, with dark cherry, caramelised sugar, corn sweetness and chocolate. The finish is long and warming, with chocolate, dark cherry and caramel.
