This is a three year old single-barrel Kentucky bourbon from Casey Jones Distillery, drawn from cask 780 as a limited release. It matured in virgin American oak and was bottled at its natural cask strength of 59% ABV, in a 75cl bottle.
The nose is rich with caramel and vanilla, ripe fruit, toasted oak, brown sugar and baking spice. The palate is powerful and coating, with caramelised sweetness, vanilla, fruit and assertive barrel spice. The finish is long and warming, with caramel, charred oak and brown sugar.
