Cask Masters Benrinnes 14 Year Old Single Cask Scotch Whisky (70cl, 50.9%)

This is a 14 year old single cask Benrinnes from the Cask Masters range, bottled by Brave New Spirits at 50.9% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no artificial colour, and 599 bottles were filled. The whisky was aged in an ex-Oloroso bodega cask, which suits the rich, fruity character associated with the distillery. The nose has Christmas cake spices, nectarine and honey. On the palate come sticky date, figs and a soft maritime note, with oak, a faint smoke and a dry close. The finish is long, rich and fruity.
