This is the Distiller's Edition of Roundstone Rye from Catoctin Creek in Purcellville, Virginia. It is bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof) in a 750ml bottle.
Only about one barrel in every ten is chosen for this higher-proof expression. The barrels come from stock set aside over several years and are picked for their interesting flavour, while the rye is still described as remarkably smooth.
