A rye whiskey from Cedar Ridge Distillery, made with modern craft distilling techniques. The mash bill is high in toasted rye, at 70%, which brings together bold rye spice and vanilla oak.
The nose is spicy and floral, with fresh lily, raw sugar, cantaloupe, anisette biscotti and wheat grass. The palate is satiny and dry yet fruity, with a medium-to-full body and a peppery edge. The finish is of medium length, with ginger, lemon candy, liquorice, maraschino cherry, white pepper and gingerbread.
