Slipknot No. 9 is an Iowa whiskey made in collaboration between the band Slipknot and Cedar Ridge Distillery. It is a small-batch whiskey made from Iowa-grown corn and rye, bottled at 45% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The nose is toasted corn, vanilla, caramel, orchard fruit and soft baking spice. On the palate, a sweet corn start gives way to rye spice, honey, charred oak, light citrus and pepper. The finish is warm and lingering, with sweet grain and a little spice.
