A single cask rum from Saint Lucia, distilled in a John Dore pot still and matured for 12 years in Bourbon casks. This edition was bottled exclusively for Germany, with an outturn of 224 bottles worldwide.
On the nose there are stewed plum jam, dried plums, almond, coffee, roasted coffee bean and dark sugar beet syrup. The palate is spicy with tart fruit sweetness, overripe dark fruits, well-integrated wood, gentle honey sweetness, strongly cooked berry fruits and a subtle hint of anise. The finish is long-lasting, dry and spicy-bitter, with dark fruit, wood, spices and fine bitterness.
