Château de Lacquy 17 Year Old is a Bas Armagnac aged for seventeen years in oak barrels. It is made from grapes grown on the estate and bottled at 45.5% vol in a 75cl bottle.
Long ageing gives a balance of rich fruit and mature oak, with layers of dried fruit, spice and subtle floral notes. It suits slow sipping after dinner.
On the nose there are dried apricot, toasted oak, vanilla, baking spice and floral hints. The palate is rich with dried fruit, honeyed sweetness, caramel, warm spice and soft oak. The finish is long, with lingering fruit, gentle spice and mature oak.
