Château de Lacquy Hors d'Age Bas Armagnac (75cl)

Château de Lacquy Hors d'Age is a Bas Armagnac, a French brandy distilled from grapes. Hors d'Age marks an Armagnac aged well beyond the minimum requirement. This one was matured for many years in French oak barrels, and comes in a 75cl bottle. The ageing brings layers of dried fruit, spice and toasted wood. It is best served neat in a tulip-shaped glass. The nose offers dried apricot, toasted almond, vanilla, baking spice and light oak. On the palate are caramelised fruit, honey, roasted nuts, gentle spice and soft oak. The finish is long, with dried fruit, warm spice and oak.
