Chess Malt Inchgower 1998 is the Bishop Edition of The Chess Malt Collection, a single cask Speyside single malt. It was distilled in 1998 and matured for 23 years, then bottled at a cask strength of 57.5%, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour. The nose opens with toasted nuts, dried fruit and dark caramel, followed by leather, tobacco and baked apples. The palate is intense and oily, with spicy oak, citrus oil, malt and black pepper, softened by fruit sweetness. The finish is long and warm, with gentle spice and a dry edge.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
