A Chianti Classico DOCG with an authentic, harmonious and savoury character and a vivid ruby colour. The nose shows ripe red fruits, cherry and wild strawberry, with light floral notes and hints of Mediterranean herbs and black pepper. Lively acidity and pleasant sapidity support the sip, while fine tannins give structure without heaviness. On the palate it is balanced and smooth, with clear fruit, a present but polished tannic texture and a pleasant, slightly spicy persistence. It suits tomato sauces, grilled meats and aged cheeses, and can be enjoyed now or kept for a few years.
