Chianti Classico - Magnum - Poggio Scalette (1.5L)

A Chianti Classico in magnum format, with a balanced and recognisable profile. It is bright ruby red, with aromas of ripe red fruit, light spicy notes and floral hints. The palate is medium-bodied, with lively acidity and well-present but polished tannins, ending with a savoury, persistent finish. Serve at around 16-18 C, opening the bottle a few minutes beforehand, with tomato pasta, meat sauces, roasts and aged cheeses.
