Chianti Rufina Riserva DOCG Vecchie Viti Nipozzano Frescobaldi

A Tuscan red wine from the 2020 vintage. After gentle pressing, the must ferments in stainless steel containers, then matures in oak barrels for 24 months before bottling and a further 3 months in glass. It shows a medium-intensity ruby red colour. The nose offers blackberries and sour cherries, followed by violet floral notes, with fresh balsamic aromas and hints of pepper, nutmeg and coffee. On the palate it is harmonious, fresh, fruity and mineral, with dense, velvety tannins and a pleasantly persistent, balanced finish.
