Chanticleer is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Chicken Cock, finished in French Cognac casks. It marks the long friendship between France and America, dating back to the 1700s, and Paris, Kentucky, where Chicken Cock was founded in 1856. It comes sealed in a collectible tin in the style of the prohibition era.
The nose offers ripened peaches, sweet cream and honey. On the palate, vanilla and cherry come with soft plums, candied dates and flambeed banana. The finish brings caramelised sugar, melted butter and fresh citrus zest.
