Chivas Regal Extra 13 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle. Most of the blend was matured in sherry casks, which gives it a full, generous character.
The nose is fruity and sweet, with ripe pear and yellow melon rounded off by caramel and chocolate, and a gentle spiciness from cinnamon, ginger and vanilla. On the palate the pear and melon become more pronounced, with cinnamon and vanilla joined by almond. The finish is long and complex.
