Chivas Regal Extra 13 is a 13 year old blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It has been selectively finished in tequila casks.
The name looks back to the Chivas brothers' emporium at 13 King Street in Aberdeen, where they imported spirits, exotic spices and luxury foods from around the world.
The tequila cask finish adds new and contrasting flavour notes to the Chivas blend, a first for the whisky.
