Chivas Royal Salute 32 Year Old The Precious Jewel (50cl, 40%)

This is a blended Scotch whisky in a 50cl bottle, matured for a minimum of 32 years. It is made from Scotch whiskies drawn from all five of Scotland's whisky-producing regions, and takes its inspiration from the Honours of Scotland, the country's historic Crown Jewels. It is bottled at 40% ABV. The nose is smooth, with bright orange, soft ripe pear and a hint of moist ginger cake. On the palate come sweet peaches in syrup, caramel toffee, cinnamon and a little dark chocolate. The finish is very long, leaving sweetness, spice and oak.
