Cinzano Bianco is a white vermouth from Piedmont, bottled at 15% in a 750ml bottle. It starts from a neutral Italian white wine, flavoured with extracts of wormwood, gentian root, cloves, cinnamon and citrus.
The botanicals are extracted by hot and cold maceration, distillation, cold pressing and percolation, then blended with sugar and neutral alcohol.
The nose is delicate, with white peach, elderflower, pear, honey and a little marjoram and thyme. The palate is gently sweet, with melon, pear, vanilla, cinnamon and clove, then gentian and citrus peel for balance. The finish is medium, bittersweet, with citrus zest and dried herbs.
