Cîroc VS French Brandy (1L, 40%)

Cîroc VS is a French brandy from Diageo's Cîroc brand, made from fine French grapes and aged in oak. It is a French brandy rather than a Cognac, as it is produced outside the Cognac appellation. VS marks the entry grade, meaning the youngest spirit in the blend has spent at least two years in oak. In the glass it is a warm amber. The nose is vanilla and caramel from the oak over ripe stone fruit and grape sweetness. On the palate, sweet grape and dried fruit carry vanilla and toffee, with soft spice building through the middle, and the finish is warming and rounded with a little oak and gentle sweetness. It suits ice, ginger ale, cola or a brandy sour. This is a 1 litre bottle at 40% ABV.
