Claxton's Exploration Series Fettercairn is a 10 year old single malt matured in a fresh Tawny Port cask. It was distilled on 15 June 2015 and bottled on 9 February 2026 at 50% ABV.
The Tawny Port cask brings a sweet, berry-led character, with brandy snaps and berries in syrup running through the palate.
The nose offers strawberry jam, red berries, trifle and custard. On the palate come brandy snaps, berries in syrup and more trifle, all sweet. The finish is long, sweet and fruity, with plenty of blackcurrant in the aftertaste.
