Claxton's Glencarrick is a 10 year old small batch single malt in a 70cl bottle, made as a tribute to the Glencarrick Distillery in the Scottish Lowlands.
The distillery stood just north of the Dalswinton Estate, among rocky outcrops and small waterfalls close to Carrick's Leap. It flourished in the 1800s and has long been closed. This whisky aims to capture the flavours of a historic Lowland Scotch, and it was matured in sherry casks and ex-Islay whisky casks.
