Cley – Dutch Malt & Rye Whisky (46%)

Cley Dutch Malt & Rye is a three-year-old Dutch whisky from the Cley Distillery in Rotterdam, bottled at 46%. Malted barley and rye go into the same fermentation, so it is distilled from one mash and is not a blend of a malt whisky and a rye whisky. It matured in bourbon casks and was finished in quarter casks of new American oak. The distillery works only with organic grain from the region. The whisky is described as spicy, with notes of brown bread, raisin, apricot, coconut and vanilla.
