This is a peated single malt from the Dutch Millstone distillery, from a single Sauternes cask and bottled at 53.46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Millstone is the heart of Zuidam Distillers, a family company founded in 1975 that now runs four small pot stills. The grain is ground in mills and fermented for seven days, which is longer than average. Zuidam describes its whiskies as fruity and complex, and matures them in a wide range of quality casks.
