Clonakilty Galley Head is an Irish single malt made from 100% Irish malted barley, triple distilled in different stills and bottled at 40% ABV.
It was matured in ex-bourbon casks, then finished in Bordeaux wine casks, including re-toasted ones.
The nose is fresh and fruity with a light touch of chocolate. On the palate there is citrus and a gentle apple note, and the finish tastes of malted barley.
