Clynelish 10 Year Old is a Highland single malt from Diageo's 2023 Special Releases, the Spirited Xchange collection. It was matured for ten years in first-fill bourbon casks and bottled at a natural cask strength of 57.5%, non-chill filtered and of natural colour, in a 70cl bottle.
The release shows the waxy texture Clynelish is known for alongside bright Highland fruit.
The nose has citrus peel, wild honey and wax polish, with a little sea breeze and vanilla oak. On the palate there is lemon curd, malt sweetness and light spice over the waxiness. The finish is long, with citrus, spice and beeswax.
