This is the Clynelish 10 Year Old from the 2023 Special Release series, a Highland single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 57.5% in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured only in American oak bourbon casks. Light gold in colour, it shows the honeyed character expected of a Highland spirit.
The nose combines pineapple with vanilla pod. On the palate come salted caramel and white pepper, then nectarine, milk chocolate and a light nuttiness. The finish is long, with strong vanilla.
