A single cask Clynelish from the Highlands, matured for 10 years in a refill hogshead and bottled by Woodrow's of Edinburgh at its natural cask strength of 54% ABV. It is natural colour and non-chill filtered, and was bottled in a run of 289 bottles.
The release is described as showing Clynelish's waxy texture alongside orchard fruit, honeyed sweetness and warming spice.
On the nose there is apple, melon, tangerine and kiwi with candle wax. The palate is waxy and mouth-coating, with honey, peaches, pear, strawberry sweets and buttery tea biscuits. The finish is medium in length, with white pepper, cardamom and a lingering strawberry sweetness.
