Clynelish 10 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the 2023 Special Release series, in a 75cl bottle. It was aged exclusively in ex-bourbon American oak.
The Malt Master took the honeyed flavours and smooth, waxy texture of Clynelish, together with the wildcat on the bottle, as inspiration for a whisky that reflects the richness of classic American jazz.
The nose begins mellow, with a mineral and maritime theme, then turns sweeter and rounder over an earthy note. The palate is vanilla-sweet, rich and powerful, with a hint of saltiness and pepper. The finish is long and spicy.
