Clynelish 10 Year Old The Jazz Crescendo is a 2023 Special Release single malt from the Highland distillery, bottled at 57.5% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured exclusively in first-fill bourbon American oak casks. The wildcat on the bottle and the honeyed flavours and waxy texture of Clynelish inspired the Malt Master to create a whisky expressing the richness of classic American jazz.
The nose is mineral and maritime, with sea breezes, slaked lime and salt crystals, then sweeter heather pollen and vanilla fudge. The palate is smooth and waxy, with toffee, light saltiness and growing pepper. The finish is long, dry and spicy, with dried coconut.
