Clynelish 12 Year Old is a 2022 Special Release single malt Scotch whisky, in a 70cl bottle at 58.5% abv.
The distillery is better known for whisky matured in bourbon casks, but this release spent more than two years finishing in oloroso and PX sherry casks. It marks a return to the Special Releases for Clynelish.
The sherry adds layers of dark fruit and spice on top of the waxiness the distillery is known for.
