Clynelish – 14 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Clynelish 14 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. Clynelish was built opposite the original Brora distillery, which is now silent, and succeeded it. The whisky is yellow gold in the glass, with a firm body that runs from light to medium. The nose has light candle wax and some sugar, with a faint floral fragrance. The palate has a pleasant creamy mouthfeel and a generally maritime character. The finish carries some salt and is dryish, with an attractive, even slightly bitter end.
