Clynelish – 14 Year Old Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Clynelish 14 Year Old is a single malt from the north-east of Scotland, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It matures for 14 years in oak casks, which give it a rich golden colour. The distillery uses water from the Clynemilton Burn, the stream beside it, and the whisky is described as soft and well balanced, with a fresh, sea-breeze character. The nose is spicy, fresh and lightly malty. The palate brings peat smoke, citrus and sweet honey. The finish is medium in length and slightly dry, malty and fruity, with honey returning.
