Clynelish – 14 Year Old (70cl, 46%)

Clynelish 14 Year Old is a Highland single malt matured in bourbon and sherry casks, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was founded in 1967 at Brora and has belonged to Diageo since 1998. It was first known as Clynelish B, because a predecessor of the same name existed. That older distillery was later renamed Brora and ran in parallel until it closed in 1983. The nose is lightly smoky, fruity and spicy. The palate brings fruit, honey sweetness and a little peat smoke, and the finish holds some smoke with plenty of fruit.
