This is a 47-year-old single cask Clynelish from the Highlands, chosen by Gordon & MacPhail for its Private Collection. It was distilled on 1 March 1977 and bottled in 2024 from cask 2069, at 45.5% ABV and with no added colour.
The nose brings ripe yellow fruit, citrus zest and beeswax alongside honey, vanilla and fine oak spice. The palate is creamy and waxy, with ripe fruit, gentle sweetness, spices and old wood. The finish is long, dry and balanced, with wax, citrus and oak.
