Clynelish – 1990/2022 32 Year Old Signatory Vintage Cask Strength Collection (70cl, 45.9%)

This Clynelish was distilled on 4 May 1990 and matured for 32 years in two bourbon barrels, numbers 3478 and 3482. Signatory Vintage bottled it on 19 July 2022 at its cask strength of 45.9%, in a 70cl bottle, as part of its Cask Strength Collection. The outturn is 219 numbered bottles, and the whisky is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The nose is waxy, with orange, kumquat, mineral notes and a savoury nuance. The palate has an oily texture with waxy, bready flavours. The finish is very long for the strength, leaving mineral and herbal notes.
