Clynelish – 1997 18 Years Old Single Cask #7107 Kingsbury (70cl, 52%)

Clynelish 1997 is a single cask Highland single malt, bottled by Kingsbury from cask #7107. It was distilled in 1997, matured for 18 years in a hogshead and bottled in 2016 at a cask strength of 52% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It was released under the Celtic Labels range of Kingsbury, an independent bottler with roots in Japan, and 242 bottles were filled. The nose is coffee and bitter orange. The palate has a rich mouthfeel with dried fruit, nuts and marmalade, and the finish is warming and dry, ending slightly salty.
